Features

Live meeting captions

Original and translated captions appear in a floating window as people speak, with bilingual, translation-only or original-only views.

Caption island

Captions can appear in a compact island at the top of the screen, growing from the notch on Macs that have one.

Your own OpenAI key

Prefer your own API account? Add an OpenAI key and translation requests go directly from your Mac to OpenAI.

On-device transcription

Audio is transcribed on your Mac with Apple’s speech recognition and is never uploaded. Captions stay out of screen sharing by default.

Any app that plays sound

FAQ

Which languages are supported?
Meeting speech can be recognized in the languages supported by Apple’s on-device speech recognition on macOS 26; language models are downloaded to your Mac when needed. The app interface is available in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Where does my data go?
Audio never leaves your Mac. To translate, transcribed text is sent to our server and on to an AI model provider (currently OpenAI); our server does not store meeting content. Transcripts and summaries are saved only on your Mac. See the Privacy Policy.
Can I use my own OpenAI API key?
Yes. With your own key, translation requests go directly from your Mac to OpenAI without passing through our servers. The key is stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac.
Will other participants see the captions when I share my screen?
No, by default the caption window is excluded from screen sharing. You can change this in Settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Polar. You can cancel anytime from the Polar customer portal or by emailing support@kikishima.com; access continues until the end of the paid period.
